BS Materials Engineering, Diploma in Exercise and Sports Science, University of the Philippines, Diliman
What is your teaching experience?
I’ve been working as an educator since 1999. As a tutor, I have helped several students pass their math and science courses as well as pass the UPCAT and ACET, two of the toughest university entrance exams in my country. From 2005 to 2009, I worked for an international online English training company, GoFluent, for four years. There, I taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and English for a Specific Purpose (ESP) for engineering and pharmaceutical companies like Giat, Schneider Electronics and Sanofi Aventis. In 2009, I got my CELTA from Language Link Vietnam and have worked for them ever since. I’ve also tutored middle school and high school students from United Nations Internatonal School (UNIS), Hanoi International School (HIS), Singaporean International School (SIS) and Lycée Français Alexandre Yersin.
Why are you in Vietnam?
I’m in Vietnam because I seem to have fallen in love with the country and consider it as my home away from home.
What do you enjoy about teaching?
Teaching gives me the opportunity to shape young minds and help them create a better future filled with infinite possibilities.
What are your interests that make you stand out?
yoga, motorbikes, road trips, poetry, martial arts
